Adela has a background in linguistics and education, with experience working with children, youth, and families in culturally and linguistically diverse communities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and has focused her academic and professional work on language, communication, and education. As a native Spanish speaker, Adela brings a multilingual and culturally responsive perspective to her work and is particularly interested in how language, routines, and environment support children’s overall well-being. She is passionate about empowering families with accessible, evidence-based information, recognizing that healthy sleep is foundational to children’s development and family wellness. Adela joined Beyond Bedtime in 2026, where she supports the organization’s mission to advance sleep health equity by equipping caregivers and educators with the knowledge and tools needed to help children thrive.
